i'm not quite done with my needlework project yet but i found a frame last week for it and had to post a pic! i wanted a distressed looking frame but i couldn't pass up a deal for under a dollar. i still need to stitch the spider which hangs from the hat and several stars. one is done next to the left tree but hard to see. there is also a button kit i need to order from Just Another Button Co. that really makes the finished product cute as can be. it will also look much better once it's washed and stretched. this is my first project and was done on 32 count Belfast linen in their flax color. i think linen looks much nicer than aida cloth, but then again that depends on the project. thank you to the creative gals at Raise the Roof designs for this fun halloween edition from the "clothesline" series!
mine:

in the pattern's picture, you can see the crows in the trees,
the bat, the pumpkin, the black cat, the doodle bug, and the
spider - all clay buttons. you may also notice that the one
below was done with variegated color floss, so the strands
go in and out of different shades of that particular color. it
gives it a really neat look and i wish i would have done mine
that way. i'm still happy with how it turned out though!

How cute! I would love to make one!You did a great job!
Wow!! Very cool! I'm impressed, Teresa. I'm almost finished with Brenna's stocking and will have to show it to you. Although it's not nearly as hard as this looks!
You make me almost want to start cross-stitching again!
