just thought these were cool pics of the fatty "hind" milk.
i like blogging over facebook many times because this is private. it is a safe haven. i can cry on here, i can share opinions, i can post things such as this without worry of offending someone (i hope). almost 4 months ago, i posted about my nursing struggles. praise GOD they are behind me. for the most part anyways. i know that many people go through the same struggles and many are unable to breastfeed because of health reasons. i appreciate so much the kind words and prayers from many different women. some who could feed the nation and some who faced the same things i did. truly though, if i would have had to quit back in mid january, amidst the other trials i was facing, i would have been so discouraged. today, i think i would handle it a bit better but day to day, week to week, the Lord is allowing me to continue. last week, my supply took a huge dip. and i had no idea why until two days later when my period came. i feared that this was going to be the end again but i just took it day to day and things are back to normal again. i can appreciate this struggle because i can now empathize with others. not just with nursing. just the same as with MSPI, this was good for me. recently on facebook, some gals were commenting back and forth about the controversial issue of posting breastfeeding pictures. their comments were something to the tune of those who find it offensive are just jealous that they're not as good of moms as them. it seriously broke my heart. us moms need to encourage one another. not judge how another mom is mothering, how she is feeding, choosing to deal with sleep matters, discipline, you name it. i wanted to say something but didn't. i just hope that i can turn around and encourage another mom and sister in this journey.
